Balbalika Bachat Khata is a saving account targeted to children below the age of 18 years (minor). Account withdrawal is restricted until the age 18 years.
Any person can deposit any amount in this account, but the account holder himself/herself, other persons or guardians cannot withdraw the amount.
After the account holder reaches 18 years of age or presents citizenship, this account will be closed, and another account will be opened according to his/her wishes and the amount will be transferred.
No cheque book/Visa card will be issued in this account.
Documents Required
Birth certificate of minor.
Personal identification such as National identity Document NID(Mandatory) with passport/citizenship/Voter Card/PAN Card/Driving License of guardians
Recommendation letter of local authority.
Identification of guardian justifying the current address of customer such as electricity bill, telephone bill etc. of guardian.
