Nepal Bank Limited in co-operation with Central Bank of India – a commercial bank, has facilitated a Fund transfer Mechanism electronically namely "CentRemit Mitra" for the Nepali Expatriates in India by disbursing cash for such remittances to the beneficiaries residing all across Nepal via NBLRemit.

This service can be availed from all branches of Nepal Bank Limited and its own private local agents.

Features:

  • Faster and Convenient.
  • Remittance charge by CBI as per their rules is very low in India.
  • Direct Credit to beneficiary's Account with NBL.
  • The maximum amount of remittance under the scheme will be INR.50000.00
  • A remitter in India is allowed to remit a maximum of 12 remittances in a year for the same beneficiary.
  • No Commission/Charges Structure for disbursement of remittance in Nepal In NBL's own Branches.
  • Charged on beneficiary while payment is made through other private local agents.

5. Western Union Money Transfer Service:

Due to the arrangement made by our bank with this fund transferring institution through Hulas Remittance, the beneficiary in Nepal can receive money very quickly and beneficiary does not need any account to receive the fund upto NPR1,00,000.00. Above NPR1,00,000.00 Remittance Saving Account can be used.

2. Remittance to India via RTGS/NEFT:  

For non-trade related transaction, this electronic payment system can be avail by remitter to instant credit of funds in account of almost Indian banks' branches from Nepal to India at low charges. Reduces courier charges and precious time. Non trade transaction is such transaction which does not address any payment against import of physical commodities. Hence, such transaction may include transportation charges, insurance policy payment, education, tourism etc. Beware! family maintenance transfer is not entertained in the RTGS/NEFT modality of ICICI Bank India.

Payment is executed within 15 minutes to 2 Hours and the confirmation is received through online platform like Money2India Workstation - a product of ICICI Bank, Mumbai.

  • Transfer of fund shall be executed in account of patient only having being referred by the hospital and such payment shall only be transferred to Hospital or Medical Stores's account.
