1. Inward remittance payment: Beneficiaries (remittance receivers) can get cash payment or account deposit of their money send by their loved ones or relatives from different corners of world through various remittance companies. They have just to produce SECRET KEY or PIN CODE given to them by the sender to the NBL Remit subagent or branches with their valid identification documents issues by the government of Nepal to verify their identity (Citizenship certificate, driving license, National Identity Card etc.) to process the payment.
2. Domestic remittance: One can send the money from the Nepal Bank’s branch to anywhere within the country. Sender will get a Secret Key once the remittance transaction processed. Receiver can get money producing the Secret Key to the branch from where they want to receive money with his/her valid identification documents issues by the government of Nepal to verify their identity (Citizenship certificate, driving license, National Identity Card etc.).
3. Money2India: Indian nationals working in the Nepal can send the money to India to be deposited in the bank account of the receiver through Money2India arrangement of Nepal Bank in coordination with ICICI Bank remaining within the NRB (Central Bank of Nepal) regulation and directives.
4. SWIFT Transfers
a. Inward Transfers: Nepalese individuals can receive the money sent through SWIFT to their account of Nepal Bank from anywhere of the world. The sender has to produce Nepal Bank’s swift code NEBLNPKA along with receiver’s correct account name, account number, bank branch name to their bank from where sending money to Nepal.
b. Outward Transfers: Nepalese citizen can send the money to abroad including India for the purpose of education and health treatment to be deposited in the account of concerned institutions remaining within the NRB (Central Bank of Nepal) regulation and directives.
